Connirae Andreas is an internationally recognised NLP developer, co-creator of Core Transformation, and creator of the Wholeness Work. Two methods, four decades of practice, one steady question — whether the patterns beneath our suffering can be met without force.
Connirae began her work in the early years of Neuro-Linguistic Programming, alongside the field's first generation of developers. With her sister Tamara Andreas, she co-created Core Transformation, and together they wrote the foundational book — Core Transformation: Finding the Wellspring Within. The method meets unwanted patterns through what someone most deeply wants underneath them, rather than by trying to change behaviour from the outside.
The Wholeness Work emerged decades later, from a quieter question: what would happen if attention turned not to the patterns at all, but to the felt sense of the self holding them? The method that followed is precise enough to be taught and repeated, gentle enough that no one needs to re-live what hurts.
She lives in Boulder, Colorado, and continues to teach, write, and host the Wholeness Work podcast.
For forty years the question never changed: can what hurts be met without force?

Connirae founded both. Each meets people in a different place; together they form a body of work she has refined for forty years.

A precise, repeatable method that turns attention to the felt sense of the self — gentle by design, with no need to re-live difficult material.

Connirae's late husband, Steve Andreas, was an author, teacher, and one of the foundational figures of the NLP field. His writing and clarity of mind shaped the early years of both their work; his presence remains part of the lineage Connirae continues.
Mark Andreas — author and teacher in his own right — carries the family's writing tradition forward. The Andreas NLP office, founded in the 1980s, continues as the administrative home for the wider Andreas body of work.
The gentlest work I’ve done, and the most lasting. Nothing was forced — things simply settled.
As an NLP trainer of 20 years, this is where the field was always quietly pointing.
I came in for stress and stayed for something much deeper.
