Common questions about the Wholeness Work — the method, the trainings, safety, and how to begin. If your question isn't here, write to us via the Contact page and we'll add it.

About the method.

What is the Wholeness Work?

A precise, repeatable method to spiritual awakening — the direct recognition of being, beneath the sense of a separate self. Created by Connirae Andreas, it works one structural layer beneath thought, with the felt sense of self rather than the story about it. People come through their pain; awakening is the work. The relief — in all its forms — is a side effect.

What does awakening mean in the Wholeness Work?

In the Wholeness Work, awakening means realising the I as Awareness. The small "I" — the felt location of the one who is perceiving — is recognised as a contraction within the field of Awareness, not the experiencer of it. When that contraction relaxes, Awareness becomes the experiencer. The recognition isn't a state to attain; it's a structural shift, reached procedurally through the formats of the method.

Who created the Wholeness Work?

Connirae Andreas, an internationally recognised NLP developer and co-creator of Core Transformation. She has refined the work over 40+ years through teaching, clinical practice, and continued personal exploration.

How is the Wholeness Work different from meditation?

Where meditation often relies on cultivating attention over time, the Wholeness Work uses precise inner questions to invite a felt shift directly. Many participants describe arriving at states they had previously only glimpsed on retreat.

How is the Wholeness Work different from therapy?

The Wholeness Work is not therapy and does not aim to treat clinical conditions. It works with the structure of the self rather than with the content of a personal history; there is no requirement to recall or narrate difficult material. Many participants use the Wholeness Work alongside ongoing professional support.

Is the Wholeness Work backed by research?

Not yet in the form of peer-reviewed published studies — the Wholeness Work is too recent for that. Core Transformation, Connirae's other founded method, has published research showing significant reduction in symptom severity. The Wholeness Work draws on the same lineage and is in continued development; participants' experiences are documented across thousands of sessions over the past decade.

Is the Wholeness Work a religion or spiritual belief system?

No. The method is structural and experiential — it does not require belief in any tradition, doctrine, or worldview. People come to it from many backgrounds, including those with no spiritual interest at all.

Trainings & practice.

How do I begin with the Wholeness Work?

The simplest start is the Free Intro — a 45-minute introduction with Connirae. No payment, no commitment, and you can stop at any point. From there, Level I is the first paid training.

What are the training levels?

There is a five-level pathway plus a separate Coach Training. Level I (Healing & Awakening) teaches the Basic Process, the Meditation Format, the Authority Process, Integrating What's Missing, and the sleep application. Level II (Deepening Practice) adds the letting-go process, the where-I-really-stand process, and work with generational patterns. Level III (Advanced Applications) teaches polarity work, two-stage dream processing, full nervous-system activation, and meta-program identities. Level IV addresses systemic integration, family-constellation variants, time encodings, and the eternal now. Level V is taught for the first time at the Portugal retreat in July 2026. Coach Training is for experienced practitioners; admission is by invitation after the trajectory, not a public application.

How long does each training take?

Live online trainings are scheduled across multiple sessions over several weeks. Self-paced video courses can be completed in your own time. Cohort dates are listed on the Trainings page.

Are training sessions live or recorded?

Both. The live online levels run with Connirae or a senior trainer in real time, with recordings available to participants afterward. Self-paced video courses are available for those who prefer to begin in their own time.

Do I need any prior experience or background?

None. Level I and the Free Intro require no background in NLP, meditation, or therapy. Practitioners and helping professionals also join — the method is accessible across the full range of starting points.

Safety.

Is the Wholeness Work safe? Do I have to re-live anything difficult?

The Wholeness Work is gentle by design. There is no requirement to recall, narrate, or re-live difficult material. Participants set the pace; the work meets you where you are.

Is the Wholeness Work suitable if I have a trauma history?

Many participants with trauma histories find the method's gentleness welcome — there is no catharsis, no narrative re-telling, no requirement to bring the wound forward. That said, the Wholeness Work is not a substitute for trauma therapy. If you are currently in treatment, we suggest discussing with your therapist before joining a training.

What if I get uncomfortable during practice?

You can stop at any time. Trainers and certified coaches are taught to titrate pace and intensity, and to support participants who need to step back. In any of Connirae's online interactions — including the Free Intro — you can close the page, mute, or step away whenever you choose.

Logistics.

How much do the trainings cost?

Live online Levels I–III are USD $395 each. Coach Training is USD $950 and is application-based. Self-paced video courses are available from USD $159. Current prices and cohort dates are listed on the Trainings page.

What is the refund policy?

Detailed refund terms are listed on each training's registration page. As a general principle, the Wholeness Work team works in good faith with participants who find a training is not the right fit.

Can I work one-to-one with a coach instead of joining a training?

Yes. Certified Wholeness Work coaches offer private sessions worldwide. The Find a Coach directory lists every certified coach in a randomised, equal-weight grid — no one is permanently first. Sessions are booked directly with each coach.
